Your New Company

Our client is a well-established social housing contractor delivering planned maintenance, reactive repairs and refurbishment projects across the region. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for quality service delivery, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vinyl Floor Layer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Your New Role

As a Vinyl Floor Layer, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality flooring installations across both void and occupied social housing properties. You will complete a variety of flooring work, including vinyl sheet flooring, cap and cove, safety flooring and associated preparation work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation of vinyl and safety flooring on domestic properties
  • Floor preparation including screeding, patching and latexing
  • Working within both void and tenanted properties
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach when working in occupied homes
  • Compliance with all health and safety procedures
