A forward-thinking and rapidly growing organisation is seeking an experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to lead and drive its health, safety, and wellbeing strategy across multiple business operations. Operating across both public and private sector markets, the organisation works with a diverse customer base and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance, governance and operational excellence.

As Group Health & Safety Manager, you will take ownership of the organisation's Health & Safety Management System, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and driving continuous improvement across the group. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing and maintaining a scalable Health & Safety Management System.
- Ensuring compliance with UK and international health and safety legislation.
- Leading ISO 45001 compliance activities, audits and certification maintenance.
- Conducting risk assessments, inspections, accident investigations and reporting.
- Supporting acquisitions through health and safety due diligence processes.
- Delivering health and safety training, guidance and support to employees at all levels.
- Managing emergency arrangements, including first aid and fire warden programmes.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
- Supporting the ongoing development of a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across the organisation.
- Undertaking occasional UK and international travel as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 Health & Safety qualification.
- IOSH membership.
- Proven experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 management systems.
- Previous experience in a senior Health & Safety position.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting audits, investigations and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to influence, challenge and support colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience operating across multi-site or international environments would be advantageous, as would additional language skills.
