Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Your new company This well-established civil engineering contractor has a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across Scotland. With a focus on water, marine, and energy sectors, they are known for their technical excellence and collaborative approach. Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced freelance Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing projects. Your new role As a Freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering projects from procurement through to final account. Your duties will include: Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and valuations Monitoring project costs and reporting on commercial performance Managing change control and variations Liaising with site teams and clients to ensure accurate cost reporting Supporting the project team with contractual and commercial adviceThis role is site-based with flexibility depending on project requirements.
