Your new company is a well-established residential housebuilder delivering quality new homes across Cumbria. With a strong pipeline of developments, the team is focused on maintaining high standards through to final completion and handover.
Your new role as a Finisher / Handyman will play a key role in the final stages of the build process, ensuring plots are completed and presented to a high standard ahead of handover. Working across multiple units, you will be responsible for snagging, completing finishing works and preparing properties for ETV and client inspections. Duties will include general finishing tasks such as touch-up painting, mastic work, minor joinery, basic repairs, and ensuring each plot is ready for successful handover.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a finisher or handyman role within new build housing
- Strong multi-trade skills (joinery, patching, decorating, mastic, basic plumbing)
- Good understanding of snagging and handover standards
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- CSCS card preferred
