Your new role As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and specification of electrical building services systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and data systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and energy-efficient solutions across a variety of projects. Your role will involve producing detailed design drawings, attending site visits, and ensuring all work aligns with current regulations and best practices. What you\’ll need to succeed Experience in electrical design within the building services sector. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Amtech or similar. A solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), and CIBSE guidelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
