Due to rapidly increasing client demand for their design services, an opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their Eurocentral team.
Your new role as an Electrical Building Services Engineer requires a track record in one or preferably multiple sectors that our client operates in. You will ideally be working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer with experience on a variety of projects. You will be part of an enthusiastic and committed team of Engineers and Technicians to deliver high-quality output on projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing engineering services design and consultancy work on behalf of our client, under the direction of the line manager or project lead.
- Designing and specifying all aspects of Electrical Services engineering in accordance with current guidelines, standards, regulations, and project deliverables.
- Producing design deliverables (including drawings, specifications, and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison with members of design/construction teams, project management, costing, and ensuring progress against the project brief.
- Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior engineers and the continuous improvement of departmental capabilities.
- Championing quality and compliance controls within local teams and projects.
- Achieving and maintaining security clearance for the role as required by clients and sectors.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Extensive experience in Electrical systems design for Building Services projects.
- Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Working towards chartership.
- Good knowledge of CIBSE standards, UK standards, etc.
- Working knowledge of industry standard design software including AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, etc.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong communication skills.
