Hays Education are working with a mainstream primary based in the Wavertree area who are seeking a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant to join them.
The role will involve:
- Support the care, learning, and development of young children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Work under the direction of the Nursery Practitioner or Room Leader to deliver daily activities and routines
- Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational development through play-based learning
- Help observe, monitor, and record children’s progress and wellbeing
- Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support inclusive practice and meet individual children’s needs, including those with SEND
Previous Experience Required:
- Previous experience working with EY in a mainstream nursery or private nursery
- Relevant Early years qualification
- Possession or ability to obtain enhanced DBS checks
