Domestic Cleaning ManagerEdinburgh | £38,500 - £41,000 + Operational Bonus | PermanentAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Domestic Cleaning Manager to take responsibility for cleaning operations across two prestigious education sites in Edinburgh.Working for a major facilities and workplace services provider, you will lead a large cleaning operation and ensure consistently high standards across the sites. This is a hands-on management position, ideal for someone who enjoys being visible within the operation, developing teams and maintaining excellent client relationships.The organisation operates across facilities management and provides services including cleaning, security, workplace support, asset management and related services across a variety of sectors. The role will involve: Managing, supporting and developing cleaning teams across multiple sites Monitoring cleaning standards through regular inspections and audits Managing rotas, staffing levels, absence and annual leave Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training Conducting risk assessments and ensuring Health & Safety and COSHH compliance Managing cleaning schedules, supplies and budgets Building strong relationships with the client and other key stakeholders Driving continuous improvement and consistently high service standardsWhat we're looking for: Previous experience managing a large cleaning or domestic services team Strong people management and team leadership skills Experience working within a compliance or standards-focused environment Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH Experience carrying out audits, inspections and risk assessments Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills Facilities Management or contract management experience would be advantageous IOSH, NEBOSH, BICS or FM-related qualifications would be desirablePackage & working arrangements: £38,500 - £41,000 per annum Operational bonus Permanent, 40 hours per week Predominantly Monday to Friday Primarily afternoon/evening working to align with the cleaning operation Free lunch on site Christmas and New Year off Driving licence and access to your own vehicle required, with free on-site parkingIf you're currently managing cleaning or domestic services and are looking for a new opportunity in Edinburgh with a major facilities services organisation, I'd be keen to speak with you.
