Your new company
You will be working within the education sector based in Liverpool as Director of Facilities. Responsible for leading and overseeing management of the multi sites, accommodation, catering, buildings and grounds.
Your new role
- You will be a visible and effective leader; developing and leading site staff; able to perform at a high level strategically and operationally.
- Ensure a high level of performance from all contracts.
- Effective and efficient leadership of the sites and grounds, catering services, service installations, energy/environmental management, and lettings to enhance the learning environment.
- Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety (legislation and implementation) are reflected in the highest of standards, ensuring all sites are safe and legally compliant.
- Promote and monitor safe working practices to provide regular reports to the Director of Finance, SLT.
- Responsible for the management of a rolling programme of maintenance, redecoration, furniture renewal.
- Monitor the expenditure of the relevant allocated budgets.
- Actively monitor developments and changes in legislation in respect of health and safety requirements and advise on appropriate action as required.
- Develop, monitor and revise (when appropriate) documentation related to the areas of specific responsibility.
- Develop and manage a short, medium and long term programme of repairs and maintenance of the buildings and site facilities.
