Are you passionate about delivering excellent housing services and making a genuine difference to residents' lives? We're working with a respected housing provider in Cambridge who is looking to appoint a Housing Officer to manage a diverse housing patch and provide a high-quality tenancy management service. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships with residents, tackle complex housing issues, and help create thriving communities.
The Role
a Housing Officer, you'll be responsible for delivering an effective neighbourhood and tenancy management service, ensuring residents receive a responsive and customer-focused experience. Key responsibilities include:
Managing a designated patch of properties.
Supporting residents to sustain their tenancies.
Investigating and resolving anti-social behaviour cases.
Carrying out estate inspections and identifying improvements.
Managing tenancy changes, successions and mutual exchanges.
Working with internal teams and external agencies to support residents and communities.
Ensuring compliance with housing policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
Experience in a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer or Housing Management role.
Knowledge of tenancy management and housing legislation.
Experience managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement cases.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
