You will be working on a live university site in Manchester, delivering an external refurbishment project involving tile removal and re-rendering works. The project is well-organised and offers a steady programme of work on a high-profile building.

Your new role

As a Working Site Foreman / Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team while remaining hands-on throughout the project.

Duties will include:

  • Supervising labourers and coordinating day-to-day site activity
  • Stripping off external wall tiles and assisting with demolition works
  • Preparing surfaces for re-rendering
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Ensuring work progresses in line with schedule and quality expectations

This is a working foreman role, so you will be expected to lead from the front and get actively involved in the work.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Site Foreman or Supervisor within refurbishment or external works
  • Strong willingness to be hands-on and work alongside labourers
  • Good awareness of site organisation, tidiness, and H&S
  • Essential tickets: SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid at Work, IPAF, PASMA

You will also need to present well, be reliable, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
