A well-established main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a large design-and-build project in Cardiff. The Role
- Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors
- Drive the programme and ensure key milestones are achieved
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and site presentation
- Work closely with the Project Manager, design team and commercial team
- Manage inspections, snagging and project handover requirements
- Build effective relationships with the client, consultants and supply chain
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor
- A strong track record of working on construction projects valued at £10m or above
- Previous design-and-build project experience
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of construction programmes, quality control and health and safety
- Relevant qualifications, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
