Your new company are you a Building Surveying graduate looking to take the next step in your career with one of the UK's leading construction consultancies? This is an outstanding opportunity for a graduate surveyor who has recently enrolled into their APC, or is due to enrol in the near future, and is looking to develop their career within a highly supportive and successful environment. The Role: Working alongside experienced Chartered Building Surveyors, you will gain exposure to a broad range of professional and project-led instructions across the social housing sector, supporting local authorities, housing associations and registered providers. Typical duties will include:

  • Contract Administration duties under JCT forms of contract
  • Assisting with refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects
  • Project monitoring and delivery support
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation
  • Undertaking site inspections and condition surveys
  • Defect diagnosis and reporting
  • Supporting senior surveyors on major programmes of work
  • Assisting with project financial management and reporting
  • Building strong relationships with clients and contractors

About You: To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • Recently enrolled onto your APC, or intending to enrol shortly
  • Some industry experience through employment, placements or internships
  • A genuine interest in the social housing sector
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • A proactive and ambitious approach to professional development
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
