You will be joining an established contractor delivering projects within the UK water sector, supporting a framework with a strong pipeline of work across clean and wastewater treatment schemes. The company operates a collaborative estimating function and is currently experiencing a significant increase in workload across upcoming projects.
As an Estimator, you will be supporting the delivery of cost estimates across water treatment projects, working closely with delivery teams. We are recruiting for both Civils and MEICA Estimators, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and cost plans for water treatment projects (clean & waste)
- Reviewing technical documentation and interpreting scopes of work
- Pricing and analysing subcontractor packages, including levelling and normalising quotations
- Supporting bids across live frameworks and upcoming works
- Working on projects within live operational treatment environments, factoring in phasing, access, and site constraints
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience working as an Estimator
- Strong background in the UK water treatment sector (clean and/or wastewater)
- CSCS Card Required
- Experience working on live operational treatment plants
- Ability to produce accurate cost estimates and interpret technical scopes
- Experience reviewing and normalising subcontractor quotations
- Background in heavy civils or infrastructure or prior experience in MEICA estimating within water treatment projects
