  • Monitoring project performance, costs and cost-to-complete forecasts
  • Managing NEC and JCT contract administration
  • Reviewing programmes and maintaining detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Producing and managing compensation events, variations and associated programmes
  • Managing temporary works requirements and site resource planning
  • Coordinating design development and programme deliverables with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining four-week look-ahead programmes and reporting progress to senior management

To be considered, you will ideally possess:

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of highways, drainage, earthworks and structural works
  • Experience managing schemes valued at £20m+
  • Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
  • Excellent commercial awareness and contract management skills
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary construction teams
  • Strong programme management capability, including Microsoft Project
  • Experience dealing with compensation events, variations and change control processes
  • Temporary Works Coordinator and Appointed Person qualifications would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

In return, you will receive a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, the opportunity to lead a flagship infrastructure project, long-term career progression within a growing contractor, exposure to high-profile projects across the North West, and a stable pipeline of secured work.
