Your new company An established building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The business specialises in mechanical, electrical and public health design, delivering predominantly high-rise residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on RIBA Stage 4 & 5 delivery. Your new role This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and autonomy, with occasional travel to London for site visits and project coordination. Working as part of an experienced design team, you'll play a key role in the delivery of electrical building services projects, taking responsibility for technical design, coordination and project delivery across a range of high-profile developments. Key Responsibilities Produce and coordinate electrical designs across Stage 4 & 5 projects Prepare calculations, specifications and technical drawings Coordinate with mechanical, public health and architectural teams Support project delivery to programme and quality requirements Review and check designs and documentation Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians Attend design team meetings, site visits and client meetings as requiredWhat you'll need to succeed 5+ years' experience in electrical building services design Strong experience delivering Stage 4 & 5 projects Experience working on high-rise residential and commercial developments Proven experience working on UK projects with a strong understanding of UK Building Regulations Ability to work independently while collaborating within a remote team Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering Experience using industry-standard design software and coordination tools Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload in a remote environmentWhat you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern consultancy that genuinely embraces fully remote working while continuing to deliver high-quality building services projects across the UK.
