Your new company is a well-established and growing environmental consultancy delivering innovative flood risk management and water engineering solutions. The company works across a diverse portfolio including flood risk assessment, surface water management, urban drainage, natural flood management and catchment-based solutions, supporting public and private sector clients across the UK and Ireland.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking Flood Modellers and Flood Analysts at all grades, from graduate to senior level, to join their expanding team in Belfast.

Your new role involves a wide range of engaging and technically challenging projects, including:

  • Flood Risk Assessments
  • Flood Alleviation Schemes
  • Surface Water & Urban Drainage Design
  • Natural Flood Management & River Restoration
  • Catchment Management Solutions

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, hydrologists and environmental scientists, you will help deliver sustainable, climate-resilient flood risk solutions.

To be successful for this role, the candidate must have:

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Hydrology or a related discipline.
  • Experience using hydraulic and hydrological modelling software such as InfoWorks ICM, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or Flood Modeller.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within project teams.
  • Good knowledge of UK and Irish flood risk policy and legislation.

For senior roles, you will also demonstrate experience in:

  • Project delivery and management
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Client and stakeholder engagement.
