Your new company As the sole agency supplier to the HM Prison Service for the provision of maintenance trades and support operatives.

Hays is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Plumber for HMP Deerbolt.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the prison service and can often lead to permanent opportunities.

Your new role

Inspect, maintain, and service plumbing systems to prevent faults and ensure safe operation.

Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures Install and upgrade pipework, fittings, and plumbing equipment as required Respond to emergency call-outs, isolating supplies and carrying out urgent repairs Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations, completing reports and paperwork You may be required to assist other trades as and when needed.

You will be required to complete and pass a security clearance prior to starting the position.

What you'll need to succeed Level 2 or 3 qualification in Plumbing You must be able to pass a full prison security clearance and enhanced DBS (if required) (Hays and the MOJ are responsible for organising all security clearances and DBS') You must hold a valid passport or Full Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence at your current address.

You must have proof of National Insurance AND proof of address dated in the past 3 months.
