About the Role

Hays are supporting a leading organisation within the offshore wind sector to recruit an experienced Offshore Service Technician for ongoing operations and maintenance work on the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm. This position is based offshore on a Service Operations Vessel (SOV), operating on a 14/14 rotation, with mobilisation and demobilisation from the Grimsby Hub. In this role, you will provide safety from the system in accordance with Vestas Wind Turbine Safety Rules and work as part of a specialist team carrying out a range of maintenance and servicing tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide system safety using Vestas Wind Turbine Safety Rules
  • Perform scheduled servicing, scheduled component replacement, and unscheduled maintenance/troubleshooting
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards required by the client
  • Contribute effectively to the offshore working party and maintain high operational standards

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Candidates must have held an Authorised Technician (AT) nomination under Vestas Wind Turbine Safety Rules, within the last 2 years - live testing experience preferred.
  • Previous AT nomination on the V164 platform (live test preferred)

  • GWO BTT
  • GWO Lift User
  • GWO Slinger/Banksman

Working Pattern

  • 14/14 Offshore Rotation

  • Based on SOV with embarkation from Grimsby Hub
