Your new company is a successful and fast-growing electrical and mechanical services company based in Bristol.
Your new role as an Air Conditioning Engineer involves working on a variety of contracts across the Southwest and Wales, including large hospitality chains and MOD sites.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of systems including:
- Split systems
- Multi-split systems
- VRV/VRF systems
- Heat pumps
- Packaged units
- AHUs and associated ventilation equipment
- Install new air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Commission newly installed equipment.
- Carry out leak detection, refrigerant recovery and recharging in accordance with FGas Regulations.
- Replace compressors, fans, motors, expansion valves, PCB boards and other mechanical/electrical components.
- Complete emergency reactive call-outs within agreed response times.
- Perform electrical fault-finding associated with HVAC equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance records, service sheets and commissioning documentation are completed accurately.
- Produce clear reports identifying defects and recommended remedial works.
- Liaise professionally with customers, clients and site representatives.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and specialist equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
