Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours (flexible start and finish times)
Your new company: A reputable and well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy finance team on a short-term temporary basis. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team.
Your new role: As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Handling supplier queries in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach
- Competent Excel and finance system skills
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
