Your new company This logistics company provides logistics services including road and rail transport, warehousing, and terminal management across Scotland and has been established for a number of years and works with some very prestigious clients in the industry. The Company provides integrated third-party logistics solutions including bonded and non-bonded warehousing and supply chain management to a number of blue-chip customers across Scotland and England. Your new role Key responsibilities will include:Ensuring operations staff are adhering to current procedures, guidelines and actively working towards the KPI targets within their areas of responsibility. Ensuring production lines are manned adequately to cope with production volumes. Ensuring all paperwork relevant to the job function is distributed in advance, in particular, SAP generated Transfer Orders for all stock moves in the warehouse. Ensuring production is placed into an authorised warehouse bin with paperwork completed accurately. Ensuring requests from the customer are taken promptly, including Audit & Deco requests. Consulting with warehouse personnel with regard to stock consolidation to ensure utilisation and stock accuracy is maintained at all times.
