Your new company This organisation is an independent arm’s length body of a government department. As a non-departmental public body, we support UK businesses against unfair trading practices. The finance team sits at the heart of this organisation, ensuring that good financial management and reporting drive robust and transparent decision-making.This role is to provide critical support to the Financial Reporting Lead and ensure that the organisation’s financial accounts are produced in accordance with the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM) in a timely and accurate manner. Your new role Proactively support G7 Financial Reporting Lead in producing our 24/25 annual reports and accounts (financial year ending March 2025) Support Dec (P9) interim accounts production and y/end preparations Following up on/carrying out period and year-end activities Prepare standard reports, dashboards, depreciation forecasts Liaising with our external stakeholders Provide ad hoc support to management accounts What you’ll need to succeed Highly organised with an ability to plan ahead Strong technical accounting skills, interpersonal communication and stakeholder management; able to successfully foster and manage interrelationships organisations The ability to maintain a pace and plan deliverables through efficient tracking of action points.
