Your new company is an insurance organisation headquartered in Bermuda with operations in London. Due to an internal move, they are looking to recruit a Corporate Accountant / Business Partner.

Your new role is based in the London office and reports into the Finance Director. The role will be responsible for supporting the global corporate accounting function, with a specific focus on IT cost accounting and reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cost accounting / reporting for the technology department
  • Liaising with project managers / AP team to ensure costs are being reported appropriately
  • Supporting monthly close routines
  • Supporting SOX control compliance
  • Supporting the Head of Global Expense Planning when partnering IT management
  • Cost forecasting and planning
  • Other ad hoc projects

What you will need to succeed: You will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and ideally have exposure to project accounting and fixed assets. It is beneficial to have business partnering experience, although this is not essential. They will also consider someone making their first move from practice into industry if you have had experience working on IT clients.
