Hays are working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing and engineering business based in Wolverhampton. Due to an extended period of absence within the HR team, our client is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator / HR Administrator to provide immediate support on a temporary basis. There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
Working closely with the HR Business Partners and wider HR team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring employee records and processes remain compliant and up to date. Duties will include:
- Managing all new starter administration and onboarding processes
- Producing contracts, offer letters and employee change documentation
- Maintaining HR records and ensuring compliance across the business
- Supporting the transition and administration of Workday HR systems
- Coordinating employee life cycle administration, including contract amendments and internal changes
- Supporting recruitment administration and liaising with hiring managers
- Ensuring HR processes are followed consistently across multiple sites
- Providing general HR administrative support to the wider HR function
Please note, this role does not involve employee relations casework.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an HR Administration or HR Coordinator role
- Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements
- Experience managing onboarding and employee life cycle administration
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience of Workday would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of US HR processes or supporting a US-owned organisation would be highly beneficial.
