In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Business Analysts and help define the organisation's approach to business analysis. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure that insight‑driven analysis supports effective decision‑making and successful delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of Business Analysts, embedding consistent methodologies and fostering a collaborative working culture
- Partnering with stakeholders to explore challenges, define opportunities, and guide decision‑making through robust analysis
- Overseeing resource planning and allocation to ensure effective support across multiple change initiatives
- Leading reviews of operational processes and customer journeys, producing high‑quality documentation and actionable insights
- Embedding a benefits‑focused approach, ensuring recommendations are grounded in evidence and aligned with organisational goals
- Leading and developing the organisation's business‑led testing approach, ensuring test plans, test scripts, and UAT preparation are robust and fit for purpose
- Coordinating testing activities to ensure solutions are credible, high‑quality, and deliver measurable benefits before go‑live
What you will need to succeed:
You will bring a blend of leadership, analytical expertise, and stakeholder engagement, supported by experience of leading teams and a strong track record of delivering analysis in agile or traditional environments. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a range of audiences. You will be proficient in techniques such as journey mapping, requirements engineering, benefits modelling, and impact assessment. You will also bring a proactive, resilient approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while supporting the development of your team. Experience of planning and coordinating business‑led testing, including test scripts, test plans, and UAT readiness, will be essential. A recognised Business Analysis qualification is desirable.
