A highly successful and evolving national organisation is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its people team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where people are at the heart of the business strategy.
Working closely with senior leaders across multiple business functions, you will play a key role in delivering people initiatives that support organisational performance, employee engagement, and sustainable growth. As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing both strategic and operational HR support across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with senior leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business objectives.
- Providing expert guidance and coaching on employee relations matters, including complex casework.
- Supporting organisational change, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Using people data and insights to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Driving key people processes including performance management, talent development and succession planning.
- Working collaboratively with specialist HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions.
- Leading engagement initiatives and supporting actions that enhance employee experience and organisational culture.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR professional with a strong track record of partnering with senior stakeholders in a complex organisation. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner or in a senior HR generalist position.
- Strong employment law and employee relations knowledge.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
- Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation projects.
- A data-driven approach with the ability to interpret and utilise people metrics.
- Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building abilities.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
Salary of £52,000. Initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Hybrid working - 2 days from home. Genuine opportunity for the role to become permanent.
