Your new company Due to the partnership between Hays and a local authority within the West Midlands, we are looking to recruit a Technical Support Officer to join the team. Your new role As a Technical Support Officer, you will be supporting the team by ensuring invoices are processed, and any purchase orders are raised. You will be responsible for supporting administrative tasks such as work job cards being created, administration of hired vehicles and monitoring and reporting on the utilisation of fleet items. You will be ensuring databases and paperwork are updated prior to invoices and after. Furthermore, this role requires you to contact internal and external stakeholders in relation to customer hiring requests. Due to the requirements of this job, you will need to be comfortable working on a rota basis (Between 06:30am – 18:00pm Mon – Thurs and 06:30am – 16:00pm on Fri). What you'll need to succeed You will need experience of working in a busy administrative and customer-facing environment. You will need to be comfortable dealing with invoices. Furthermore, knowledge of systems and fleet would be desirable. You will need to have strong communication skills to be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
