Your new role

As Employee Relations Specialist, you will provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of complex and high-volume employee relations cases.

Working closely with HR colleagues and operational managers, you will ensure cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and company policies.

Key responsibilities will include

Managing disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance-related cases.

Providing coaching and guidance to managers on ER best practice.

Supporting investigations, hearings and appeals.

Ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies.

Identifying trends and recommending proactive solutions to reduce ER risk.

Supporting wider HR projects and organisational change initiatives where required.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a dedicated Employee Relations role.

Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation.

Proven ability to manage a varied and complex ER caseload independently.

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Ability to balance a pragmatic commercial approach with compliance and best practice.

CIPD qualification or working towards a qualification is desirable but not essential.

What you'll get in return
