Your new company is the local council based in Taunton. The role is ongoing temporary with the chance to go permanent, offering 37 hours per week at a pay rate of £13.26 per hour. Sundays are paid at time and a half, and Bank holidays at double time. An immediate start is available. The working days are Sunday to Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. You will have your own company vehicle.
Your new role involves working in pairs with a colleague, cleaning and clearing public conveniences and council offices on a rota basis. There may be instances of dealing with anti-social behaviour, so you must be comfortable handling such situations; however, training will be provided, and you will always have a colleague with you.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Must have a driving licence as you will have your own van to drive to locations for work within Taunton.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Be available immediately and able to commit to the length of the role.
- Experience of dealing with members of the public.
