Your New Company Hays are working in partnership with a successful and growing organisation based in Shrewsbury to recruit a Customer Account Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business in a varied commercial role focused on developing customer relationships, managing accounts and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Working as part of a supportive office-based team, you will manage an existing portfolio of customers while actively developing new business opportunities through proactive communication and relationship building.
This role would suit an individual with previous sales, account management, customer service or business development experience who enjoys speaking with customers and building long-term relationships.
Your New Role
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Manage and grow your own portfolio of customer accounts.
Proactively contact customers to understand their requirements and identify opportunities.
Provide advice and support to customers, ensuring a high level of service.
Generate quotations and process customer orders.
Follow up enquiries and maintain regular communication with customers.
Work closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure excellent customer outcomes.
Monitor market activity and identify potential opportunities for business growth.
Maintain accurate customer records using internal systems.
Contribute towards individual and team sales targets.
Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
What You'll Need to Succeed
