About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and commercially minded HR Advisor to join our client's team in central Northampton (NN1) on a Fixed Term Contract for 3 to 6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional looking for flexible, part-time working arrangements (3 to 4 days per week) to provide robust, day-to-day operational HR support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, first-line advice and guidance to managers on absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters in line with UK employment law and company policy.
- Support recruitment processes, onboarding, probation reviews, and offboarding procedures.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HR records, personnel files, and HR systems, producing employment contracts and related correspondence.
- Assist the HR Manager with reviewing and updating company policies, procedures, and handbook documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Senior HR Administrator (CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified, or equivalent by experience).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Availability: Immediately available or available on short notice to commit to a 3-6 month FTC working 3 to 4 days per week.
