We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Student Income Administrator to provide administrative and financial support within a busy student income environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with student finance administration, processing transactions, responding to queries and delivering a high standard of customer service to students and colleagues. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Student Income Team.
- Process basic financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with student fee and income-related administration.
- Respond to enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face.
- Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and update relevant databases and systems.
- Resolve routine enquiries and escalate more complex matters where required.
- Support the team with general administration duties including data entry, document management and correspondence.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with departmental procedures and deadlines.
- Contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the Student Income function.
Person Specification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Experience dealing with enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face.
- Good administrative and organisational skills.
- Basic finance processing experience.
- Ability to work accurately with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

- Experience using finance or student record systems.
- Knowledge of tuition fee or income administration processes.
