Your new company is recruiting for a permanent Business Development Executive to be based out of the North West - Manchester.

An established financial services organisation is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive growth through the development of strategic partnerships and new business opportunities. This role is responsible for supporting the design and implementation of business development strategies, building strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the achievement of ambitious growth objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business development professional looking to expand their network, influence business performance, and develop their career within a highly regulated environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships to support organisational growth.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of business development strategies and sales plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, and external organisations.
  • Deliver presentations and proposals to prospective and existing customers and partners.
  • Support the achievement of lending and commercial objectives while ensuring positive customer outcomes.
  • Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively at the first point of contact.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve agreed performance targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering regulations and conflict of interest policies.
  • Complete required control and compliance activities accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Provide customers with accurate, relevant, and compliant information at all times.
  • Adapt effectively to changing priorities and operate successfully within challenging deadlines.
  • Share best practice with colleagues and support collaboration across teams.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in business development, relationship management, or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding customer and business objectives.
  • Experience delivering professional presentations to customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management, diary management, and organisational abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant technology platforms and CRM systems.
