A well-established manufacturing organisation based in Leek is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis due to increased workload. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the business.
As a Temporary Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments across the business. Responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records
- Data entry and updating internal systems
- Managing emails, correspondence and telephone enquiries
- Producing reports, documentation and spreadsheets
- Supporting production, logistics and operational teams with administration
- Filing, scanning and document management
- Coordinating deliveries, stock information and supplier communications
- General office administration duties as required
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous administration experience within a professional office environment
- Possess strong organisational and time-management skills
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Be able to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Manufacturing or industrial sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Competitive hourly rate of up to Β£15 per hour, full-time hours, Monday to Friday, on-site parking, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a successful manufacturing business are offered. Weekly pay through Hays and dedicated Hays consultant support throughout your assignment are also included.
