I am currently recruiting for a Property Administrator to join a busy and professional property team based in Leeds city centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator looking to develop their career within the commercial property sector. Working closely with an experienced team of Property Managers and Surveyors, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and managing supplier invoices received via email and post
- Coding invoices and preparing documentation for approval
- Uploading invoices to the property management system for payment
- Assisting with service charge reconciliations
- Supporting tenant credit control activities
- Downloading and processing utility invoices from online portals
- Administering insurance renewals and arranging tenant recharges
- Coordinating business rates processes for vacant properties
- Liaising with utility providers regarding tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Uploading and monitoring utility meter readings
- Arranging utility recharges and processing landlord liabilities where applicable
- Supporting the negotiation and administration of utility contracts
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is updated across internal systems
- Providing general administrative support to the wider property management team
What We're Looking For
- Previous administration experience within a busy office environment
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in property, finance, utilities, service charge administration or accounts administration would be advantageous, but not essential
- A proactive and professional approach to work
