Your new company is a well-established organisation based in Inverness seeking an experienced and proactive Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for an initial 3-month contract. Working within a small and supportive office environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business while providing excellent administrative support across a variety of functions.
Your new role is a varied and busy administration position where no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for managing general office administration, handling incoming telephone and email enquiries, maintaining accurate records and databases, and providing support with document preparation, filing, data entry and scheduling. You will also welcome visitors to the office, respond to customer and stakeholder queries, and assist colleagues with a range of administrative tasks as required. Working closely with a small team, you will be an important point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure a professional and efficient service is delivered at all times. This role is fully office-based and would suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is highly organised and takes pride in delivering a high standard of administrative support.
What you'll need to succeed: To be successful in this role, you will have previous administration experience and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively. You will be confident communicating with a range of people, both face-to-face and over the telephone, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook, are essential. A professional approach, keen attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude will also be key to your success. You must also be happy to work in the office every day, Monday to Friday, as this role does not offer hybrid working.
