The Role

As a Rota Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring services are delivered efficiently by creating and maintaining staff rotas, coordinating schedules, and liaising with staff, clients and families. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing staff rotas and schedules.
  • Planning and maintaining client and staffing requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, staff and professionals.
  • Managing changes to schedules and ensuring continuity of service.
  • Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
  • Supporting and covering calls when required during periods of high demand or emergencies.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working as a Rota Coordinator or Scheduler.
  • Experience within the health and social care sector.
  • Knowledge of electronic care management or monitoring systems.
  • Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota.
  • A willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Office-based in Guisborough Participation in an on-call rota will form part of the role, with further details discussed during the interview process.
