Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in cashiering, banking operations, treasury administration or finance operations? We're recruiting for a Cashiering & Controls Officer to join a well-established organisation in Fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial controls, cash management and reconciliations in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Processing and allocating daily cash receipts
- Managing bank transactions and maintaining accurate cash records
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving cash allocation discrepancies
- Producing cash and banking reports
- Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures
- Supporting the finance team with month-end activities
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in Cashiering, Treasury, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations
- Knowledge of cash allocation and bank reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Good Excel and finance systems experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
Desirable:
- AAT qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification
- Experience within a high-volume transactional finance environment
- ERP or finance systems experience
