Temporary Correspondence Business Support Officer

Salary: 29,766.96

Location: Manchester / Hybrid

Contract: Temporary - Start ASAP until 30 September (with potential to extend)

We are recruiting for a Temporary Correspondence Business Support Officer to support a busy Communications Team. This role focuses on handling public enquiries via telephone and written correspondence, alongside providing administrative and business support to senior communications staff. The post holder will act as a first point of contact for the organisation, delivering a professional, responsive and customer-focused service while helping to ensure enquiries are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to a wide range of telephone and written enquiries relating to the organisation's work.
  • Act as the first point of contact for members of the public, providing clear, helpful and professional responses.
  • Identify, manage and escalate sensitive issues or potential reputational risks appropriately.
  • Provide flexible administrative and business support across the Communications Team, including support to senior leaders.
