Salary: 30,000 per annum

Annual Leave: 25 days plus statutory

We are looking for a proactive, driven Commercial Account Handler, with a background in insurance, who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service. If you enjoy working with a wide range of clients, solving problems, and taking ownership of your work, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

  • To promote and support the SME Team both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market and other third parties.
  • To utilise the client data given by issuing renewal notices, making phone calls to confirm quotations and follow-up quotations given, then arrange cover where successful.
  • To deal with any customer enquiries as appropriately required.
  • Process any adjustments and action any post/correspondence from clients or insurers.
  • Deal with any accounts issues and ensure adequate credit control.
  • To develop the business account in accordance with the business plan.
  • To actively cross-sell within the company where required and to suggest ways of improving the process of work flows for the team.
  • Enquiries to be dealt as appropriate to experience and expertise with designated broking and placing as suitable.
  • Develop and maintain good relations with partner insurers, negotiating terms and prices where appropriate.
  • Obtain sufficient information before advice given.
