A well-established professional services business is looking to appoint a part-time Business Support Coordinator to support its growing team. This is a varied role that would suit an organised and detail-focused administrator who enjoys working with data, processes and systems. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting financial administration, producing reports and ensuring important business processes run smoothly.
Your new role:
- Extract, collate and analyse data from multiple systems, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and presented in a meaningful format for stakeholders.
- Produce regular reports, summaries and management information to support business operations and decision-making.
- Support financial administration activities, including processing statements, monitoring records, assisting with reconciliations and maintaining accurate system data.
- Review, investigate and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
- Maintain and monitor CRM and business systems, helping to ensure data integrity and efficient processes across the organisation.
- Assist with compliance administration, maintaining records, tracking key dates and supporting regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with colleagues to identify outstanding actions, improve processes and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
- Use Excel extensively to manipulate, validate and summarise data, producing clear and actionable information.
- Follow established procedures while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and reporting processes.
- Provide general administrative support across the business, helping to ensure deadlines are met and records are maintained to a high standard.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an administration, business support, operations support or finance administration role.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
- Ability to extract, analyse and summarise information into clear and meaningful reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A process-driven mindset and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Finance or accounting knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Experience within financial services, accountancy or another professional services environment would be advantageous but not required.
