Your new role involves being a part-time Communications & Marketing Executive to join our growing team in Cardiff. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who can translate technical subject matter into clear, engaging content, while also planning and delivering marketing initiatives that support business development and strengthen our brand in the market.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Campaigns & Planning: Support the development and execution of marketing plans aligned to company growth objectives, assist with targeted campaigns to drive new business, client engagement, and retention, help identify opportunities to promote key services and sectors.
- Content & Communications: Create and manage high-quality content across website, email, and social media, translate technical input from senior management into clear, engaging client-facing material, ensure consistency of messaging and brand across all communications.
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain and manage CRM data, ensuring accuracy, segmentation, and effective use, support targeted marketing using client and prospect data, track leads and campaign activity.
- Business Development Support: Work with the team to support pipeline development and follow-up activity, assist in preparing marketing collateral for pitches and proposals, help identify and research target markets and opportunities.
- Events & Brand Building: Support the planning and delivery of events, seminars, and networking opportunities, assist with promotional materials and event communications, help raise the company's profile through coordinated marketing activity.
- Marketing Operations & Analysis: Monitor and report on marketing performance (campaigns, email engagement, website activity), conduct market and competitor research, contribute ideas to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- General Marketing Support: Assist with design and production of marketing materials (digital and print), ensure all content is accurate, compliant, and professionally presented.
What you'll need to succeed: Previous marketing experience within the professional services sector, degree or equivalent in relevant field (Journalism/Marketing/Communications), strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, pragmatic, detail-orientated & delivery focused, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
What you'll get in return: This is a newly created permanent role on the back of a sustained period of growth and expansion. This is a part-time, office-based role, working three days per week. There is flexibility on the days worked (Monday to Friday). The salary for the role is £18,000 - £21,000 based on a FTE of £30,000 - £35,000 per year.
