Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, closing reports, and cost accounting schedules.
- Compile and analyse financial data to post-entries to the general ledger and document business transactions.
- Prepare and review revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documentation.
- Analyse revenue and expenditure trends to support informed business decisions.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Controls, Processes & Compliance
- Assist with establishing, maintaining, and coordinating accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor and review accounting system outputs for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and manage external statutory audits and financial statements.
- Complete VAT, ROS, and RTD submissions.
- Budgeting & Reporting
- Analyse and review budgets and spending across business units.
- Assist with cashflow management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Submit consolidated financial results into the group reporting package.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise, support, and guide members of the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
