Your new company is an independent regulator of social care and childcare, who register, inspect and take action to improve the quality and safety of services for the well-being of the people of Wales.

Your new role involves working from a CRM system to undertake a variety of tasks including:

  • Sending for social services references
  • Translation requests
  • Foster and adoption checks
  • Matching tasks
  • Completeness checks of notifications and applications submitted online
  • Recording all phone calls and email queries via the CRM system and triaging as necessary
  • Carrying out ID checks for DBS renewals for inspectors
  • Maintaining the CRM system through accurate and timely data inputting, scanning and attaching documents
  • Checking the accuracy of contact details before communicating with a provider
  • Informing the relevant team of problems arising

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Ability to use Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and customer relationship management databases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively deal with a range of internal and external colleagues, including senior managers
  • Must pass a DBS check

Merthyr base office - Hybrid working

What you'll get in return:
