Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Support Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. The role is currently based in Oldham and will relocate to Bredbury later this year, offering a fantastic opportunity to become part of an evolving business.
Your new role
As a Sales Support Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, acting as a central point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal teams. This is a varied position combining customer service, administration and operational support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming enquiries from customers and suppliers via telephone and email
- Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
- Preparing documentation to support production planning activities
- Liaising with production teams to monitor order progress and provide customer updates
- Welcoming visitors and managing site attendance procedures
- Supporting health and safety initiatives and promoting a safe working environment
- Providing general administrative support to ensure smooth business operations
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous administration and customer service experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing or production-led environment. You will be highly organised, confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will also have:
- Strong administration and data management skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Previous experience working with customers, suppliers or production teams
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- An understanding of sales and operational processes
- Access to your own transport and the ability to travel to the Bredbury location following relocation
