Your new company The Employee Relations Advisor will be responsible for delivering a professional, expert and commercially focused employee relations service across the organisation. Acting as a trusted advisor to managers, the role will lead on a wide range of employee relations matters, ensuring that cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation, ACAS guidance and company policies.The postholder will play a key role in supporting managers through complex people issues, promoting positive employee relations, mitigating organisational risk and fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and high performance. Your new role Employee Relations Manage a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, probation and flexible working matters. Conduct and support workplace investigations, producing clear documentation and recommendations. Advise and coach managers on employee relations issues and best practice. Attend and support formal hearings, meetings and appeals. Promote early intervention and informal resolution where appropriate. Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the HR Manager.Compliance & Risk Ensure all employee relations activities comply with UK employment law, ACAS guidance and company policies. Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant case records. Identify and mitigate potential employment risks.Reporting & Improvement Monitor employee relations trends and provide management information. Support the review and development of HR policies, procedures and manager guidance. Contribute to initiatives that promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture. What you'll need to succeed Essential Previous experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisor role. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidelines. Experience managing employee relations cases independently. Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload.Desirable CIPD Level 5 or equivalent. Experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
