Your new company Hays are partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit a temporary Administrative Assistant based in Carrickfergus. The candidate will be responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative and financial support to the Waste Service within the depot. Your new role Maintain accurate records and filing systems. Handle correspondence and communications for the Waste Management Team. Manage performance data for audits and contracts. Coordinate and collate waste and recycling statistics. Conduct research and data gathering. Archive data per data protection procedures. Assist in marketing and promoting Waste Management Services. Act as a point of contact for general enquiries. Handle customer enquiries referred by the Customer Service Team. Monitor trade waste schedules and provide service updates. Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes. Ensure prompt invoice preparation and payment. Assist with ordering and stock control of waste management items. Comply with Council policies, including health and safety. Participate in business and service plan formulation and evaluation.
