We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and innovative provider of commercial office fit-out solutions. The company, based in Rugeley, Staffordshire, is known for delivering high-quality environments through advanced HVAC systems. As a Mechanical Technical Design Manager (Building Services), you will be responsible for managing the design process from the tender stage through to construction-ready documentation. This pivotal role involves leading a team of designers, liaising with clients and consultants, and ensuring that all mechanical services designs meet required specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design of mechanical services projects from concept to construction.
  • Managing and prioritising the internal design team's workload.
  • Providing technical guidance to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Conducting site surveys and preparing detailed technical reports.
  • Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with specifications, Employer's Requirements (ERs), and regulations.
  • Collaborating with estimating and delivery teams to ensure project alignment.
