Your new company

You will be joining the existing maintenance team in the Ross-Shire area, who are looking to take on a maintenance technician. You will be working alongside other experienced operatives and reporting to a depot each morning at 08:30.

Your new role

You will be working alongside other experienced tradespeople within void properties, working in the properties to get them up to a liveable standard. You will be undertaking some of the following duties:

  • Joinery - lock changing, installing kickplates, worktops, doors
  • Basic plumbing - taps, toilet seats, shower railings
  • Preferred but not essential painting experience
  • Occasional labouring cover

Full UK Driving Licence Required as well as own hand tools.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will need to be flexible as you will be travelling between Tain and Inverness, and as far west as Ullapool and Applecross. You will have experience in a similar role and be able to work well as part of a team. A driving licence is required to be considered for this role. However, you do not need a CSCS card to be put forward.

What you’ll get in return

For the right individual, you may be offered a full-time position should one become available. You will be paid weekly with regular updates from your Hays consultant with the option of accrued annual leave.
